She’s been in love with UX since 2012 when a friend first described it as, “psychology, but where you can actually apply it!” She’s previously done research at Getty Images, Joy the Wedding App, and PayScale. Talk | Not Your Mother's Research Presentation

Have you ever put in the hard work to conduct a user research study, only to find your stakeholders quietly trying to hide their yawns during your results presentation?

As researchers, we know that our research is only as effective as our delivery of the findings. But distilling complex, nuanced insights and observations into a compelling experience where the audience walks away having internalized what we needed them to learn can be a real challenge.

In this talk, we’ll walk through some examples of how to get stakeholders up and out of their seats - literally - and into the shoes of your users through the use of games, metaphors, visuals, and collaboration.

Spoiler Alert: You won’t be just quietly listening to this talk; you’ll get to take an active part in it!
